My summer is two weeks from being over & I'm not quite sure how to feel about it.
On the one hand, camp is exahausting in every possible way, & I usually would almost always prefer to be sleeping to most anything at this point.
On the other, all of the people I work with are amazing, & the kids are stellar even while being extremely tiring. I'm glad that most of the time, though I'd rather be napping the time that is not including in the "most", I can appreciate how interesting & funny all of the kids are.
I got a new tattoo tonight that is based off of this ciramic bird Hayley bought me for my birthday. It's on the back of my left arm, right around where my ampersand is & it's red. I really like it, which is a little weird, because most of the time I kind of hate my tattoos at first.
I feel really weird writing in this right now. I bought a white hoodie from American Apparel & it's hella soft. I need to call a lot of people. If you are one of those people, I am really sorry, but it takes a ton of will power to call people while living in the GLC bubble for me for some reason. I will surely get in contact with you soon though. Also, if you're the person who keeps calling me from a private line, stop calling or leave a message because I have no idea who you are & I'm not going to answer calls from a private line. K BYE.

SO it's been around 6 weeks since I've written here last, & a lot of wonderful things have been happening here at GLC. I'm going back to Glen Lake Camp this summer. I'll be there throughout June & July.

Two months away from my best friends, Austin, and all that those things entail. But I needed to come back. I miss the kids. I miss the warmness that camp provides. The black roads. Lifeguarding. Serenade night. Small groups. I just needed to experience it again. This is going to be my last summer I can give so much time to something like this, so I thought, why not? Fall semester is going to be devouted to working, playing as much music as possible, and finally going back to school. But I'm going to need y'alls support moving into the warmer weather and thus to camp. I'm thrilled with going back but also very, very nervous about the challenges that are going to arise with being away from Austin/friends and getting back into mental/spiritual shape to be able to get through the summer. So, think happy thoughts for me, & I love you guys.
